CHALLENGE
Our client initiated a Finance Transformation (“FT”) program to transform Finance to deliver business impact and financial expertise at world-class efficiency consistent with its business model.
Zeevo professionals designed standard global processes leveraging the client’s current and planned application systems and best practices, as well as provided a multi-year roadmap of transformation initiatives supported by a high-level business case.
APPROACH
- Utilized business process modeling (“BPMN”) tools to design standardized and and harmonized global close to disclose processes
- Conducted regional workshops to validate the current state and develop the vision of the to-be state
- Designed a governance structure to establish ownership for global end-to-end finance and accounting processes and identified processes for migration to shared services
- Developed regional implementation and multi-year roadmaps of transformation initiatives
OUTCOME
- The client benefited from a multi-year “Finance Transformation” roadmap to deliver standard, global close-to-disclose processes based on leading practices and the optimization of the client’s global ERP system
- The enhanced closed process targeted approximately $20mm of annual recurring savings
- The client significantly improved operational and control processes as a result of this initiative, reducing errors and exceptions handled and reducing the time to close each period-end
