Joey Johnsen provides strategic leadership for Zeevo Group and works with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies and policies. She’s a CPA and PMP and comes from a “Big Four” internal control and ‘finance transformation’ consulting background.

Growing up in western Montana, Joey was raised with a taste for adventure and challenge. Her personality thrives on “What’s next?”

Prior to co-founding Zeevo, Ms. Johnsen spent three years leading Finance Strategic Initiatives at International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC). This included preparing ILFC for its sale to AerCap, and managing the post-merger integration of ILFC and AerCap for the accounting, tax, treasury and internal audit teams.

Ms. Johnsen is a highly-accomplished senior global executive with a track record of achievement and leadership in private industry and public accounting. She has eighteen years of experience working with prominent clients across a broad range of industries—financial services, technology, consumer products, manufacturing, telecommunications and private equity. She assists organizations with the evaluation and assessment of risk and controls relating to operations, financial reporting, compliance and information technology. This includes assessment, design and implementation of controls relating to operational improvements, system implementations, IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, Sarbanes Oxley, and agreed upon procedures. She also co-led a West Region Finance Transformation practice for a “Big Four” accounting and consulting firm and delivered CFO Transition Lab Workshops to help new CFOs successfully navigate their first 180 days.
